You will work with technologies that include Sitecore, Figma and UI/UX.
Compensation Expectation: $50 – 75/hr
What You'll Do As a Senior Production Designer:
- Sitecore Page Assembly
- Build and maintain website pages within Sitecore XM Cloud using approved design mockups as reference.
- Configure and assemble pages using existing components from the design system and component library.
- Apply styling within Sitecore Page Builder using available theme variables, spacing controls, and component settings to accurately match approved designs.
- Add and manage page content including text, images, video, links, and metadata.
- Design Review & Feasibility Assessment
- Review provided mockups and ensure designs can be achieved using existing Sitecore components and platform capabilities.
- Identify areas where designs do not align with existing components or available functionality.
- Collaborate with UX, design, and development teams to recommend solutions and highlight requirements for custom development where necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication
- Work directly with internal marketing and business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify content needs, and communicate progress.
- Participate in project meetings and provide implementation updates.
- QA & UAT
- Conduct visual QA to ensure implemented pages match approved designs across devices and breakpoints.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support issue resolution.
- Validate content, styling, functionality, and component behavior prior to launch.
- Issue Tracking & Documentation
- Create, update, and manage Jira tickets related to defects, enhancements, content issues, and implementation gaps.
- Clearly document findings, recommendations, and reproduction steps for development teams.
- Figma Theme & Style Guide Configuration
- Create and maintain project-specific style guides in Figma.
- Configure and manage color, typography, and button mappings using Figma Variables.
- Prepare styling specifications that can be referenced by developers when configuring Sitecore CSS themes and design tokens.
Qualifications:
You could be a great fit if you have:
- Experience working with Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore Experience Editor, or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of component-based design systems.
- Experience assembling pages and managing content within a CMS environment.
- Ability to interpret design mockups and translate them into production-ready web experiences.
- Experience conducting visual QA and identifying design inconsistencies.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Figma, including components, styles, and variables.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with design systems and design tokens.
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles and accessibility requirements.
- Experience collaborating with developers in Agile delivery environments.
- Understanding of front-end development concepts including HTML, CSS, and component-based architectures.
- Experience supporting website launches and content migrations.
