Compensation Expectation: $80 – 100/hr
What You'll Do As a Technical Project Manager:
- Drive execution of Tech Studio product delivery to meet the needs of the partner studios.
- Help establish requirements from stakeholders and users.
- Must be able to break down projects into clear, achievable milestones with well-defined tasks for effective team execution.
- Manage and coordinate budgets, staffing, and timelines to ensure product delivery.
- Establish and promote software development and Production Technology best practices, standards, and metrics.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business segment partners in order to capture stakeholder needs and promote the entire portfolio of Tech Studio products.
- Manage delivery of “Big Picture” initiatives where product or project needs overlap.
- Capture opportunities for re-use, optimization, or productization of existing tools across products.
- Provide coaching and second-level support for Tech Studio product teams.
- Escalate and mitigate risks and competing priorities.
- Report progress, risks, and successes to stakeholders and senior leaders
Qualifications:
You could be a great fit if you have:
- 7+ years of experience supporting large programs
- Experience managing Product teams and projects such as server room management and software licensing, procurement, and operations
- Senior project management experience of technical teams using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Education and/or Experience in Technology or Engineering
- Preferred
- Experience managing servers for VFX Rendering
- Experience managing up to Director and VP-level management
