Compensation Expectation: $60 – 70/hr
What You'll Do As a Full Stack Developer:
- Deliver high-quality front-end and back-end feature development work in a nimble, small-team environment embedded within a matrixed corporate ecosystem
- Effectively leverage the specific technologies, languages, and frameworks required to successfully build and scale this application
- Conduct code reviews, propose alternate implementation choices, and help troubleshoot issues as needed
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for the product, including but not limited to: Technical architecture, key integration points, identification of third-party or open-source licensing needs, associated risks, etc.
- Synthesize complex subject matter into clear, simple terms for non-technical colleagues and stakeholders
- Work closely with Product team using agile (scrum, kanban) methodologies and software development lifecycle models, as well as traditional project management principles and practices
- Thoughtfully account for stakeholder requirements & feedback in all stages of development work, translating those needs into well-informed solutions and seeking clarity where needed
Qualifications:
You could be a great fit if you have:
- 5+ years of relevant working experience
- GraphQL API Design (gqlgen, Strawberry, etc.)
- Database Query Design (Cypher, SPARQL, SQL, SurQL, Vector, etc.)
- Experience working with graph databases (neo4j, Stardog, Neptune, etc.)
- Specialization or proven interest in AI/ML, generative AI, or related emerging technologies
- Experience in the media and/or entertainment technology industry
- Experience provisioning and/or managing infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability to independently problem-solve in a fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment
- Experience in the following (including extensive experience in at least one of the below):
- Developing web applications using modern libraries and frameworks (React, Nextjs., etc) and supporting front-end feature development
- Developing APIs and server-side logic using Go, Python, and/or Node
- Experience creating or maintaining ETL pipelines
