T2P Construction Administrative Assistant

Summary: Our client, a world renowned construction management firm in NYC, is looking for a construction site administrative assistant who is looking to pursue his/her career in commercial interiors & construction. This role will start ASAP and last for 1 year. If proven a fit, this role could extend or go perm.

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform clerical tasks and operate/oversee basic office equipment
  • Handles incoming calls providing general information, forwards calls to the appropriate party and takes messages as required
  • File and maintain written records along with creating electronic copies for records
  • Receive, sort and log into the computer all project related documentations
  • Prepare daily outbound packages
  • Prepare materials for design and construction meetings
  • Records and updates meeting minutes for the site meetings
  • Responsible for procurement of consumable materials and office supplies
  • Support the Superintendent with equipment inventory tracking and organization
  • Support Superintendent with the time cards
  • General support for the project team as needed with various day to day tasks

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent computer skills, Timberline Sage software experience 
  • 1- 2 years of admin experience
  • Ability to maintain Vendor Relationships.
