Temp Internal Communications Lead

Summary: Our client, a global media company, is looking to bring on an Internal Communications Lead in their NYC office ASAP for 4 months on a temp basis. This role has potential to extend and maybe go perm for the right person. This is an exciting opportunity to join the company at a critical time and play a key role.


  • Review and finalize a document containing questions and answers ensuring the content is simple and clear and that answers are understandable and accurate
  • Set up and manage the Q&A tool which employees will use to search for answers and submit new questions
  • Vet all Q&A for approval and publish all new and updated content
  • Partner with leaders, integration workstreams and stakeholders such as HR, IT and legal to source answers to new questions and maintain current content
  • Assist with collecting and prepping Q&A for global meetings and leadership town halls
  • Speak with influencers to get an idea of what’s on people’s minds and what questions people are asking
  • Create FAQ messaging documentation as needed for various channels including our leader toolkits and market specific comms campaigns
  • Use data to inform Q&A program decisions and to identify opportunities where we can better support our employees


  • BA/BS/Undergraduate (degree in Communication, English or Journalism is preferred)  

  • Excellent verbal and written skills are required; you must be able to crisply articulate concepts

  • 5-8 years experience in communication function

  • Strong leadership, presentation and collaboration skills

  • Ability to be viewed by leaders and stakeholders as a trusted advisor

  • Strong understanding of the media technology and/or advertising industry

  • Highly-organized and detail oriented

  • Ability to function under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with extremely tight deadlines

  • Creative, flexible and willing to bring new ideas and fresh thinking to the table
