Our client is a dependable and trusted IT solutions provider in the Federal sector. They offer their clients end-to-end solutions to their mission challenges. We are looking for a Business Analyst to provide support to our government clients.


Salary Expectations:  $100,000 – $140,000

As a Business Analyst, you will be a crucial bridge between business stakeholders and the technical development team. Your primary focus will be on understanding business needs, gathering requirements, and translating them into clear and actionable user stories for a Salesforce solution. You will work closely with business users, subject matter experts, and the project team to ensure the successful configuration and customization of Salesforce to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and pain points.
  • User Story Creation: Transform business requirements into clear and concise user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, testable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Process Mapping: Analyze and map out existing business processes and propose improvements to optimize business workflows in Salesforce.
  • Functional Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications and business process documentation to guide the Salesforce configuration and development efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, and QA teams to facilitate effective communication and ensure the successful implementation of business requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and support user acceptance testing, working with business users to validate that implemented solutions meet their needs.

Required Skills
  • Business Analysis Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in Salesforce or CRM-related projects.
  • Salesforce Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce platform and its features, understanding of standard and custom objects, and experience with Salesforce configuration.
  • Requirements Elicitation: Proven ability to effectively gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and other elicitation techniques.
  • User Story Development: Experience in creating well-structured, clear, and detailed user stories that meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) criteria.
  • Process Mapping: Understanding of business process modeling techniques and experience in mapping out business processes.
  • Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Salesforce CRM Experience: Previous experience working on Salesforce CRM projects, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices and experience in working within Agile project environments.
  • Data Migration Experience: Exposure to data migration processes and tools for data loading into Salesforce.
  • Salesforce Reporting and Analytics: Knowledge of Salesforce reporting and analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Process Automation: Understanding of process automation capabilities within Salesforce, such as Workflow Rules, Process Builder, or Flow.
